The fotoplastikon is a system of rotating stereoscopic images. It allowed viewers to see changing three-dimensional photographs a hundred years ago. There are only a few such devices in the world that are still active. The Warsaw Fotoplastikon, operating since the 1900s, is the only one in Poland. It has over 7,000 photographs in its collection. Some depict travels around the world at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Others show Warsaw in various periods or contemporary works by renowned artists.

There is one place in Warsaw where you can do whatever you want – the Poniatowski Bridge Beach. All the Warsaw bars and clubs are empty in summer, and the locals light bonfires, dance, and drink till dawn on this wild beach. There are also two trendy beach bars – Temat Rzeka and Plażowa. Although it is forbidden to drink alcohol on the street in Warsaw, this beach is like a piece of wilderness where city rules do not apply.
