San Jose travel tips
In 1990, at the initiative of a non-profit organization of the city, a musical performance was held in its centre, on the city square Plaza de Cesar Chavez. Over time, it went beyond the city limits, lasted three days, and covered not only the jazz direction. The festival features performers of salsa, blues, R&B, and many other musical styles. In recent years, you can visit the festival for a nominal fee (previously it was free).
San Jose is a California state with special fishing requirements. Fishing in freshwater and the ocean from a boat is only possible if you have a license. Therefore, before taking a fishing rod with you, it is better to check the rules at the hotel or in the tourist information centre.
