Can I enter Ecuador?

Ecuador is open to all foreign tourists as of April 2022. Nevertheless, several COVID-19 restrictions are still in place in Ecuador. Before going to Ecuador, complete the Traveler’s Health Declaration and upload all your covid-related documents before your flight

Can I enter Ecuador if I am vaccinated?

You can enter Ecuador if you are vaccinated. You are considered fully vaccinated at least 14 days after completing your vaccination course.

As of April 2022, five vaccine drugs are approved in Ecuador:

  • Pfizer
  • Sputnik V
  • CoronaVac
  • Oxford/AstraZeneca
  • CanSino

There are no COVID-19-related restrictions for leaving Ecuador. Please ensure that you’ve learned the entry requirements of your destination country concerning COVID-19 tests for vaccinated travelers. Some countries demand tests anyway.
