Can I enter Lithuania? 

At present, all travelers can enter Lithuania. However, COVID-19 restrictions depend on the country you are arriving from.

Can I enter Lithuania if I am vaccinated?

You can enter Lithuania if you are vaccinated. You are considered fully vaccinated if you have received both doses of vaccine (or one dose in case of a single-dose vaccine) at least 14 days before arriving in Lithuania.

As of March 2022, the following vaccine drugs are approved in Lithuania:

  • Johnson & Johnson (Janssen)
  • Pfizer (Comirnaty)
  • Moderna (Spikevax)
  • AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria)
  • Covishield
  • Novavax (Nuvaxovid)

Travel documents if I am vaccinated and traveling from the EU countries

Please note that travelers from the following countries are exempt from any COVID-19-related restrictions and do not need to present any COVID-19 documents:

  • The EU countries
  • Iceland
  • Liechtenstein
  • Norway
  • The Swiss Confederation
  • The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
  • Andorra
  • Monaco
  • San Marino
  • The Holy See (Vatican City State)

Travel documents if I am vaccinated and traveling from other countries

Travelers from all other countries have to present:

  • Documentation confirming a vaccination status

Can I enter Lithuania if I am unvaccinated?

You can enter Lithuania if you are unvaccinated. 

Travel documents if I am unvaccinated and traveling from the EU countries

Please note that travelers from the following countries are exempt from showing any tests and documents concerning COVID-19:

  • The EU countries
  • Iceland
  • Liechtenstein
  • Norway
  • The Swiss Confederation
  • The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
  • The Principality of Andorra
  • The Principality of Monaco
  • The Republic of San Marino
  • The Holy See (Vatican City State)

Travel documents if I am unvaccinated and traveling from other countries

Unvaccinated travelers from all other countries have to present the following documents:

  • A negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of your flight to Lithuania
  • OR documentation of recovery from covid that is no more than 180 days old

Can I leave Lithuania?

Vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers can leave Lithuania.

Travel documents if you are vaccinated

Vaccinated travelers must have the following documents to leave Lithuania:

  • A vaccination certificate is mandatory
  • A negative COVID-19 test result is optional, depending on your destination country 

Please take your time to learn all the requirements about certificates and tests of your destination country in advance.  

Travel documents if I am unvaccinated

If you are unvaccinated, please present one of the following documents:

  • Documentation of recovery from COVID-19 (no more than 180 days old before the day of crossing the border of a particular country)
  • A negative COVID-19 test result (the relevant period and kind of test may vary, please check the requirements of your destination country)
