The carrier has maintained its top position among the UK’s budget beach-holiday bookers
British carrier easyJet has managed to preserve its position as an airline that provides the best value. According to new market research conducted by YouGov, the airline has gained the best ratings from budget beach-holiday makers from the United Kingdom.
The polling company asked which airline carrier is best performing in various categories. They measured levels of quality, value, recommend, satisfaction, impression, and reputation.
YouGov surveyed different groups of customers and one of them, budget beach-holiday bookers, selected easyJet as the airline providing the best value.
“YouGov BrandIndex – our brand tracking tool – tracks 16 different consumer perception metrics, which together build a complete picture of a brand’s performance in the eyes of consumers,” YouGov said in a report.
“We’ve looked at different audience segments – such as first and business class flyers, beach holidaymakers, and those currently in the market to fly – to show how different brands perform among different groups”
In the value category, rated by budget beach lovers, easyJet was followed by Jet2 while Flybe was named third in the ranking.
Asked what airlines would travellers, regardless of their category, recommend the most, they selected Singapore Airlines as the winner, followed by Emirates and Air New Zealand.
In terms of quality, Emirates dominated the ranking with Virgin Atlantic being second, and British Airways the third best airline.
British Airways, on the other hand, have the best reputation among travellers between 18 and 34 years and manage to create the best impression, followed by Virgin Atlantic and Emirates in both categories.
