Known as the capital city of the southern state of Karnataka, Bangalore (also known as Bengaluru) is the beating heart of India’s tech industry, and it’s exploding with cool places to go and see, from Ulsoor Lake to the KR Market.

Bangalore is fast becoming one of the best places to fly to in India because it offers something completely different from the other major cities. Where else in the country do creative innovation and traditional India rub shoulders?

With so many interesting tourist attractions and destinations in Bangalore, choosing which ones you’d like to see can be overwhelming, so Kiwi has written up five of the best vacation ideas for beautiful Bangalore to help you.

Let’s get planning your holidays.

When Is The Best Time To Visit Bangalore?

Bangalore is gifted with a mild climate regarding Indian standards throughout the year.

To get the most out of your trip to Bangalore, consider traveling during the winter months, between October to February. Temperatures range between 16°C and 31°C. Although it’s the winter season, it never gets cold enough like temperatures for skiing, so you’re safe, even around Christmas time.

March to the beginning of May is considered the shoulder season; during this period, the weather is still nice, but it begins to get more humid as the monsoon season is only around the corner. Temperatures range from 20°C and 33°C.

If there was one time of year to avoid Bangalore, it would be the summer months between June and September. Just as May comes to a close, the monsoon season has arrived, with temperatures between 22°C and 33°C, but it’s much more humid and the warmest time to visit. If you’re not a fan of the rain, you should miss your Bangalore vacation until the weather clears up. But if you don’t mind a shower or two throughout the day, go for it. The monsoon season doesn’t mean it will rain all day, every day; it’s usually just for an hour or two.
