Since graduating from high school, I’ve always been looking for new places to travel. I funded all my trips on my own (I’ve visited 32 countries so far and I’m always hungry for more), so I’ve had to learn how to keep to a low budget. Luckily, saving money also brings me joy. I feel more comfortable on a stranger’s couch or in a 12-person hostel room with fellow adventurers than in a fancy hotel room. Over the years, I’ve learned numerous tips and tricks that I’ve already shared with my close friends on Instagram. I’ve created videos about the cheap backpacker’s lifestyle — for example, about public transport, hostel experiences, or eating supermarket food at random but beautiful places.”

I’m a travel addict, problem-solver, and complex itinerary-maker. I love flying and exploring new places, and I have a very positive outlook on life. If I have my mind set on something, I’ll definitely do it. Budget travel and travel hacks give me an adrenaline rush! I have lots of travel stories, experiences and hacks that I can pass on to aspiring travelers.”

“I’m Máté Sipos, a Hungarian content creator, influencer, DJ and speaker. I’m 22 and I love traveling, discovering new cultures, meeting new people and challenging myself! This is the perfect job for me because I love travel hacks, like the ones from Kiwi.com, or like filling my airplane pillow with socks (but please don’t tell Ryanair). I’ve made videos about how to vacation on a budget, both in Hungary and abroad. My last video about Stockholm got more than 100,000 views. I hope I can make my next one as a World Travel Hacker!”

“As a World Travel Hacker, I’d relish the opportunity to take on the challenge of exploring the globe on a budget, using my creativity, resourcefulness, and savviness to make the most of every opportunity. I may not be an experienced traveler, but I’m eager to explore new cultures and discover hidden gems. With a background in social media management and content creation, I’m confident that I can use my skills to share my experiences and insights with the world through videos. I recently made the decisions to travel to Romania and to become a travel blogger. I’m looking forward to the chance to partner with Kiwi.com and inspire others to explore the world, discovering the magic that lies beyond our borders.”

“I believe that I’d be an excellent fit for this position, given my passion for culinary adventures and extensive experience in traveling for food. I’m a travel influencer and food blogger on my social media accounts, and I’m also a social media manager for five different restaurants. I have 42.6k followers on Instagram and 43.2k followers on TikTok. My social media presence demonstrates my ability to captivate and engage a substantial audience — I just love editing and posting videos! Overall, I have the perfect combination of an adventurous spirit, a refined palate, and a deep appreciation for the cultural nuances of food, and I am confident that my passion, skills, and experience will do the perfect job. Pick me!”

“I like to think of myself as a little hydrogen and helium sphere in an eternal self-discovery process. I’m fascinated by images and words and I might have a slight obsession with impreciseness and the color yellow. I’m quite creative and I’m always looking for unique ways to express my thoughts. I realized a while ago that traveling is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and being able to deal with unexpected situations. Personally, I don’t want to be comfortable. Ever. Okay — maybe when I’m very old. Until then, I want to explore, to laugh until my belly hurts, to happy-cry when I see a beautiful sunrise, and to spread the love. The world’s just waiting for me, and I’m pretty sure I’ll just need my eyes, my heart and a camera to take it on.”

With my travel blog and social media channels having a significant following, I’ve already established a strong online presence. Through my engaging content, I’ve  successfully built a community of travel enthusiasts who trust and value my recommendations. I have excellent storytelling skills, producing captivating narratives and visually appealing photography. I’m genuinely excited about the possibility of joining Kiwi.com as a travel influencer, and I can’t wait to show you my creativity and authenticity.”

“My mom decided to leave Russia for Germany, and despite limited resources, she made it possible for us to travel as a family. We were always seeking budget accommodation and camping and cooking saved us money, which allowed us to explore over 15 countries. During this time, I discovered the power of pursuing one’s dreams. At 19, I took my first solo trip, and then I visited Canada, America, Vietnam, and Indonesia. I realized that while people may seem different from the outside, we have the same essence. My mission is to challenge the assumption that traveling is only for the wealthy. Through the World Travel Hackers job, I want to showcase the world’s beauty and its impact on our lives, and I want to uncover budget options and share insights in an effort to shift our focus to affordable exploration. Let’s break free from the belief that travel is costly.”

“I’ve always loved adventures. I once went to Australia for a year with only a backpack, I and made so many amazing memories. Now, I’ve just finished my master’s degree in Portugal, which is where I found my forever adventure partner (we went skydiving on our third date!). My girlfriend and I love to go on new adventures, discover new places and food, and make social media content. As an international couple (I’m German and she’s Portuguese), we’re constantly consolidating our different cultures, and we’d love to embrace even more of the world.

“Together, we make a great team. We’re very creative, we adore engaging with different people to get to know new perspectives, we save money so that we can keep traveling, and we try as many activities as possible — from the local, traditional ones to the crazier, unexpected ones. We can’t wait to share our adventures with everyone!”

“I can be both a tourist and a traveler — I like comfort as much as I like saving money. I’ve taken every opportunity that the EU offers to travel freely, and I often hitchhike, camp and use Couchsurfing. I’ve also solo-traveled and interrailed a couple of times before. I love exploring new places and seeing inside locals’ houses (legally). Ultimately, I do put people over places and I;m enthusiastic about the unpredictability of life.”

“I’m a content creator who’s worked for a travel magazine, as well as several brands and hotels. I have 29.4k followers on TikTok at the moment, and I’ve already got some great ideas for my content, should I become a World Travel Hacker. Like this challenge, for example: booking the cheapest last-minute flight from a different country each day of the week. In every country, I should do something like try at least one traditional dish or visit three monuments, and if I fail, I get a penalty… like having to buy lunch for a stranger!”

“I’m Erin! I’m just about to graduate from film school and have zero plans for after university, but I really want to travel. Throughout the last few years, I’ve met people from all around the world, which has only intensified my interest in embracing new cultures and pushing myself to my limits. I have the most fun being out of my comfort zone. I also love organizing trips. I’ll book everything — my friends just need to bring their passports!

“I’ve been creating content for brands for over a year. My ultimate dream is to do this while traveling the world. In other words, Kiwi.com’s World Travel Hackers is my dream!”

“Travel content creation is not only my passion but also my full-time job! I create TikToks and reels about my travel experiences, featuring tips as well as inspiration for others. In addition, I co-create travel vlogs for my partner Joel’s YouTube channel. Joel and I would be the perfect fit for this job as we already have so many great budget travel hacks from the time we spent in Asia, but haven’t yet tested these out in Europe! This could be a perfect opportunity to see if Europe really is as expensive as everyone makes it out to be, and to put our skills to the test.”

“I know I’ll be great at exploring the best of what different countries have in order in order to share it with the Kiwi.com community. Traveling is a passion that I’ve always had — there’s something magical about packing your bags and heading out on an adventure into the unknown. My love for traveling began during my gap year, when I went to explore the world on a budget. Now, I’m a content creator on TikTok, where I share my travel experiences and inspire people to do the same.”

“I should be a World Travel Hacker because I love a challenge. My favorite travel challenge that we’ve taken on was when we visited 12 Christmas markets in just 12 days. In 2022, we set out to show that traveling is not just for the rich; we’ve visited over 25 countries, funded by our minimum-wage jobs, reaching over 15 million people in the process. Travel hacking? We’ve got it down to a fine art — we’re never afraid to lose out on comforts to save money, which is why we’ve found ourselves in some questionable situations: lumberjacking in Australia in exchange for accommodation, sharing a hotel room with a rat, and spending 27 consecutive hours on a bus.”
