Everybody has seen this movie. A 10-year-old hero, Kevin McCallister, was supposed to spend the holidays with his family in Florida. However, after a series of unfortunate events, he ended up in New York instead.

Having his father’s credit card as the only companion in the city, he takes a room in the hotel he knows from commercial and lives like a king. Then the card is reported stolen and he must create another battleplan for his fight against his arch enemies, the Wet Bandits.

To celebrate the anniversary of the 1992 blockbuster, the Plaza decided to bring the Home Alone experience to its visitors.

Fans of the classic can opt for a HOME ALONE 2 Anniversary Room Package that allows them to Live like Kevin with an ultimate overnight stay at The Plaza.

“The package is complete with gifts including a branded backpack, and copy of the Anniversary Edition Blu-ray as well as express passes to visit the Empire State Building,” the hotel says in their offer.

“And for the literal cherry on top, this booking option will include a complimentary in-room ice cream sundae cart ordered via room service and delivered by a personal butler who will make it just for you.”

Beyond the in-room experience, guests can also try a nineties inspired menu at the Todd English Food Hall. The menu offers various versions of childhood favourites.

“Todd English Food Hall will be throwing it back to the nineties, putting unique and upscale twists of household favorites from 25 years ago, such as SpaghettiOs, gourmet Todd pockets, Charcuterie Lunchables, Funyun Rings, and Sunny-D and Zima inspired cocktails,” the hotel said.
