- Kiwi.com’s promotion campaign “Black Flyday” ("Promotion") is organized by Kiwi.com s.r.o., Company ID No.: 29352886, with a registered office at Lazaretní 925/9, Zábrdovice, Post Code 615 00 Brno, the Czech Republic , registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Brno, File No. C 74565, Tax ID No. CZ29352886 ("Promoter").
- Participation in the Promotion is conditioned by acceptance of these terms (“Terms”). By entering this Promotion, a participant is indicating their agreement to be bound by the Terms. Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
- The Promotion is organized on 2 separate social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram (“Platforms”) and on multiple occasions where each such occasion shall have specific conditions and a separate winner (“Contest”). Depending on the platform used, the Promotion is available to the residents of the following countries:
- For Instagram, it is open to participants residing in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the United Kingdom .
- For Facebook, it is open to participants residing in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, Poland , Hungary and Romania.
- Each Contest shall be announced via post on the respective Platform (“Announcement”) and such announcement shall also contain its duration (“Contest Period”) upon expiry of which Kiwi.com shall select the winner. Kiwi.com reserves the right to change the promotion start and end dates without notice.
- A winner shall be selected for each Contest and the prize for winning the Contest shall be a voucher usable to purchase Kiwi.com Services in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Kiwi.com available at https://www.kiwi.com/pages/content/legal . The specific value of the voucher for each Contest shall be specified in the corresponding Announcement. The voucher is single-use and no cash alternative will be offered. The voucher shall remain valid for 2 months after its issuance.
- The winner of the Contest shall be selected from the participants who fulfil the requirements according to the Art. 7 below based on the following method:
- Participants need to:
- decipher the message in the image shared in the Announcement,
- submit the answer via comment under the Announcement post AND tag another user via the functionalities of the respective Platform, and
- follow the Kiwi.com profile on the respective Platform.
- The winner shall be notified within 24 hours after the end of the Contest Period. To claim the prize, the winner must reply to such notification within 24 hours. Once the prize is claimed, the voucher will be delivered to the winner within the next 48 hours.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the companies operating the Platforms.
- These Terms do not constitute any legal claim for participation in Promotion, prizes or any other benefits or their reimbursement or compensation for them.
- In case of any disputes arising from or related to the Promotion, the courts of the Czech Republic shall have complete jurisdiction over all disputes. The Promotion and any legal relations established in connection to it or derived from it shall be governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
- There is no entry fee to enter this Promotion. Internet connection and mobile data rates may apply to the participant. The cost of accessing the Promotion website will be dependent on the participant’s internet service provider and shall be the responsibility of the participant only. The Promoter holds no liability towards participant’s costs. Any breach of these Terms, willful misuse of the Promotion, or fraudulent behaviour may result in invalidation of an awarded prize, without prior notice and any compensation.
Information about processing of your personal data
Data Controller
Personal data of participants of the Promotion will be processed by the Promoter (Kiwi.com s.r.o.) in the position of the data controller.
What, why and on what basis
We will use your personal data (namely identification information, contact information and your submitted answer under the rules of the Contest) for the purpose of allowing you to participate in the contest, contest evaluation and to provide you with a prize. This processing shall be done based on our legitimate interest to promote our services and products.
Where do we get your personal data
We collect the personal data which you submit in your answers within the context of the Promotion and other data from your public profile as necessary (e.g. your name or the way to contact you).
Sharing your personal data
The personal data are processed solely within the Platforms where you submitted your answers. Therefore the personal data are going to be processed by the company Meta Platforms Ireland Limited which operates both Platforms. In limited circumstances and to the necessary extent, we might temporarily process your personal data internally within the Google Workspace apps operated by the company Google Ireland Limited.
Your rights
We want you to always be in control of your personal data. To this end, you have certain rights that allow for it. Under certain conditions, you may:
- Gain access to all your data that we use or are processing, and even get a copy of all of it
- Ask us to delete your data
- Correct the data that we are processing if you think that there are mistakes
- Restrict the processing of your data
- Receive your Personal Data in a commonly used and machine-readable format or to have this data transmitted to a different provider,
- Submit an objection against the processing of your personal data.

Complaints
Data protection is a serious matter and the rules are quite difficult to implement correctly. No one is perfect, and it may happen that we make a mistake. If you feel that we mishandled your Personal Data, please turn to us first. We promise that we will try our best to resolve the situation. You can always approach us with any privacy or data protection related issue at privacy@kiwi.com .
Nevertheless, at any time, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you are from the EU, you can lodge a complaint at the authority in the member state of your residence, in the member state where you work or in the member state of the alleged infringement.
