The operation like never before will include New York/Newark–Prague connection as well as the US’ only nonstop service to Naples
United Airlines has announced its new international schedule for summer 2019. The Around the World in 31 Ways operation will include 39 new connections extending United’s presence to 54 countries overall.
According to the carrier, this year’s busiest-ever schedule aims to build on the airline’s expanded domestic network and offer customers more access than ever before from United gateways, including Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York/Newark and Washington, D.C.
The airline officially began flying the schedule on 30 March with the start of nonstop service between San Francisco and Amsterdam. With this flight, United is the only US carrier to connect customers between the Bay Area and the Netherlands.
“Today we are offering our customers more destinations than ever before, both here in the United States and overseas,” said Patrick Quayle, United’s vice president of international network.
The only US’ nonstop connection to Naples will launch on 22 May. The anticipated service between New York/Newark and Prague will kick off on 6 June.
