Just a few minutes from the Bishkek centre the Solutel Hotel is easily the best in the city
If it wasn’t for the management of the Solutel in Bishkek, I would have had much greater difficulty returning from Ala-Archa National Park in the Tian Shan mountains. They were a great help, and managed to get us home when we were in dire straits.
As hotels go, the Solutel is superb. It’s just up the road from its sister lodgings, the Ambassador, but even more luxurious. The bar and restaurant on the ground floor are perfect for a quick business lunch, or a long dinner and drinks.
The rooms are huge, dwarfing the massive, comfortable beds, and hold soft sofas and armchairs. Everything has been designed for comfort and relaxation, but also to make sure that you have everything you need to get a bit of work done.
It’s amazing what having a bit of space can do to help you wind down at the end of long day’s sightseeing. The fully-stocked bathrooms are spotless, and they are also larger than many other hotels’ standard rooms.
To make sure you stay fit on your travels, there is a fully-stocked gym. Afterwards, you can open your pores in the sauna and then have a massage in the parlour to soothe your tired muscles.
The Solutel is just a few minutes walk from the centre, and the Soviet sights, of Bishkek. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and can easily help with making sure you reach the amazing wilderness of the mountains.
Set in a grand building in the diplomatic quarter of Bishkek, the Solutel is easily the best hotel in the city – whether you are there for work, or pleasure.
