Lost or damaged baggage

Unfortunately, we cannot influence this. Please contact the airline directly if your baggage is lost or damaged.  

The best we can do is to offer the following advice:
  • You should first locate the airline or lost baggage counter.
  • Show them your baggage tag reference number: it is usually a sticker which they place on your boarding pass or passport.
  • They might also ask for your PNR number which is on your e-ticket.
  • Find out the process. Usually, they will take your address and deliver the bag to you once it turns up.
  • Ensure that you report any damaged baggage before leaving the airport so that you can show them proof. 
  • Find out how much the airline's coverage is for before paying for repairs.
  • If you have any travel insurance, contact the provider to see what coverage they offer.
