Summary: We designed this free service to provide you with the smoothest-possible transfer during your layover.
Kiwi.com Bag Transfer is a free service which we provide at certain airports. It’s here to help with your baggage during your layover with self-transfer.
We’ll recheck your baggage for you, and you can proceed straight through security to your next flight.
All you need is a valid booking and a smartphone with internet.
Currently, we only offer one bag tag per booking. But in the near future, you'll be able to use multiple bag tags per booking.
How does it work?
You’ll receive an email to let you know that the service is included in your itinerary.
Pick up a Kiwi.com Bag Tag from the first airport information desk at the start of your journey. Have your Kiwi.com e-ticket ready to show them.
Attach the bag tag to your checked bag.
Scan the QR code or visit the web link on the bag tag. Both lead to a web form where you can pair the bag tag with your booking.
Continue with the normal check-in process and leave the bag at the airline check-in counter.
You’ll get a little sticker from the airline with your bag tag reference number on it. It’s usually attached to your boarding pass. Keep this safe in case you need to track down your bag after the trip.
During the layover, you don’t need to worry about the bag. Just continue through security to your next flight.
We’ll send you reminders about these steps before and during the journey.
What should I do at the final destination?
Just pick your bag up from the baggage claim with the rest of the passengers from your final flight.
