Flying with electronic devices

If you have electronic devices such as laptops or cameras, it is best to transport these in your cabin baggage, but there may be restrictions on their lithium ion batteries. For example, if they have a rating of more than 100 wh, they may not be allowed on board.

Don't pack the following in your cabin baggage:
  • Wireless mouse
  • Bluetooth headsets
  • Radio transmitters
  • Radio controlled equipment or toys
  • Printers and computer peripheral devices
  • Laser pointers
These devices may be confiscated if they're found in your cabin baggage because they can interfere with the navigational and communication equipment of the aircraft. Pack these restricted items in your checked baggage and ensure they are switched off.

It's the passenger's responsibility to ensure they're aware of the specific policies of the airlines and airports in their trip.
