Here are the detailed rules about our Kiwi.com Guarantee you should know about:
The Kiwi.com Guarantee is a unique paid-for service we offer to protect you in case of changes or cancellations caused by the carrier. It's available on all the trips, whether you travel by flight, bus, or train. You can purchase it when you book your trip, but it's not possible to buy it later.
The Kiwi.com Guarantee doesn't cover you if you change your trip or contact details directly with the carriers without our knowledge and approval. For example, you’ll lose the Kiwi.com Guarantee if you add checked baggage to a no-checked-bag itinerary including itineraries with a short layover where you wouldn't have enough time to transfer.
Upon your application for the remedy under the Kiwi.com Guarantee, you assign us all the claims related to your flight ticket(s) refunded/replaced by us under the Kiwi.com Guarantee conditions, including the claims for regulatory compensation for disrupted flights, claims for damages caused by flight disruption(s) and claims for the refund of the price of disrupted flight(s) and related services.
This assignment does not take place in case you accepted the offer of Third-Party Enforcement Services (e.g. AirHelp Plus or other services of AirHelp Germany GmbH) brokered by us, to the extent of the claims for regulatory compensation for disrupted flights and claims for damages caused by flight disruption(s) that are the subject-matter of such Third-Party Enforcement Services (i.e. the claims against the carrier(s) for refunds of the price of the flight(s) and related services refunded/replaced by us under the Kiwi.com Guarantee shall be assigned to us in any case). In such case, the terms & conditions (including the terms regarding the commission) of the Third-Party Enforcement Service apply.
