The city of Alicante is located in southeastern Costa Blanca and surrounded by plenty of beaches. On the south of Alicante, you can find Saladar Beach with golden sand. On the northern outskirts, you can sunbathe in a spotless bay of Playa de la Albufereta. All beaches are ideal for spending time with family and friends or taking sports activities.
2) Go to the main public venue that hosts concerts, shows, and other events in Alicante
Teatro Principal de Alicante is the major venue in Alicante where cultural events, music festivals, opera, and dance shows occur. The façade of the building is neoclassical as it was constructed nearly 180 years ago. The interior is designed in Italian style. The space inside the theatre is divided into a lobby, a stage, and a cave in the shape of a horseshoe. The teatro is situated on Plaza Ruperto Chapí. You can get there by bus or tramlines.
3) Come to see an exciting exhibition in Museu de Fogueres in Alicante
The Fogueres Festival Museum is dedicated to Sant Joan Bonfires, the most known and widely celebrated holiday in Spain. Its celebration takes place in June and engages everyone in the city.
