Venice Marco Polo Airport is the fourth-busiest airport in Italy. It has one terminal with three floors, and the ground level is for arrivals. The first floor is for departures, and it's separated for Schengen and non-Schengen flights. The second floor has airline offices. To get to the old historic town of Venice, you can take a bus, train, car or water shuttle. Buses leave from Piazzale Roma, and trains depart from the nearby station of Venice Mestre. The water shuttle is called Alilaguna, and it'll take you directly to the San Marco square or Rialto station. If you'd like Italian pasta or espresso, you'll be spoilt for choice with a wide offer of restaurants and cafes. At the airport, you can also find the tourist offices which help you to enjoy your stay.
