Cheap flights from Bari to Almería from £65

"This is the best beach in Spain", Steven Spielberg thought when he saw Monsul beach. Then he decided to use it as the set for the scene where the father of Indiana Jones brought down a German plane with his umbrella shooing away a flock of seagulls. Monsul is a coast with white sand and a pure sea. To take there from Almeria, the nearest location is nearby San Jose village, and you must take a dirt road, accessible by car, at the entrance of San José on your right (facing the sea). However, during the summer months (only), the access is limited, and you should arrive at the beach between 9:00 and 10:00.

As in any city, in Almeria, there is a possibility to be ripped off by taking taxi service by strangers. Usually, taxis in Almeria are white with a red cross stripe on the front door. Two companies represent them: Tele Taxi and Radio Taxi.

Those who like to stroll through unusual shops should look into the Promesas del Oriente shopping pavilion. Here you can buy colourful oriental-style carpets, bright handmade clothes, and a lot of wood crafts. As for women, the most popular purchase is hand-made silver jewellery, reflecting a piece of Spanish passion and cheerfulness in each owner.
