Cheap flights from Oslo to Bastia from £84

Any accommodation on Bastia costs a pretty penny. And if you want to save money while travelling in the warm season, local campsites welcome you. There are Casanova and Les Oranges campsites, located 5 kilometres far from Bastia. You can get there by bus from St Nicholas square that runs every 30 minutes. Do not imagine tents with wild conditions; they are pretty well-equipped with all necessary appliances, pools and even whirlpools. They are also suitable for people with little children. Composite costs about 5 euro per day for adults and 3 euro per day for children.

When in Bastia, drink Cap Corse. It’s a tasteful aperitif made from wine infused with oranges and other different fruits that grow on the island. This aperitif is easily found in any cafe. Usually, people try one or two glasses of Cap Corse, fall in love with this beverage and decide to buy a bottle. For this purchase, the Mattei store is the best one.

Head to the Gunpowder Store in Citadel Bastia. If you love to walk, you are lucky to reach the so-called Aldilonda walkway. It is a 450 meters long walkway, which will impress you with fascinating views of the Tuscan archipelago, Elba and Capraia islands.
