Major airports in Bulgaria

If you arrive at Sofia Airport (SOF) in Sofia, which is also the biggest airport in the country, and you’re going to any other city, no worries. Bulgaria is well connected so it takes a maximum of a few hours to reach other cities.

If you travel to Bulgaria during the summer holidays, then you don’t need to pack warm clothes with you as the weather is usually pleasant and sunny. Although if you travel at the end of the summer you might want to bring a light jacket with you as it can get a bit chilly in the evenings.
