Your rebooking and cancellation options

If you’d like to rebook your trip, you’ll pay the full price of a new ticket. When it comes to cancellations, your refund will depend on airline policies.
💡 You can make rebook or cancel up to 48h before the start of your trip. Changes must be made for all passengers on the itinerary.


Rebooking or canceling your trip

To rebook your trip, sign into your account, open your trip, and scroll down to the Rebooking & cancellations section and click Change your trip.  

When you rebook your trip, you’ll pay the full price of a new ticket. We’ll show you all possible options with the carriers’ prices. If you like one of the options, you can pay for the new trip and continue with the change. 

If you want to cancel your trip, we’ll offer you an assisted refund, which means we’ll request a refund from the carriers on your behalf. Please note that a refund might not always be available and that some carriers might not provide monetary compensation.   
We'd advise you to check their policy beforehand to know what to expect.
If a refund is possible, we’ll send it to you once we receive it from the carrier. You can check your refund status by logging into your account, opening your trip, and clicking Refunds and cancellations
If you don’t want to handle your refund through us, you can apply for it directly with the carriers.

Can I cancel with the carriers directly?

You might choose not to cancel your ticket with us, and go directly to the carriers. But their policies and the way we book trips vary, so it might not always be possible to get a refund. 
If you successfully claim a refund from the carriers, they might send it to our bank account — in that case, please let us know. We’ll forward it to you unless you’ve already requested a refund from us.

What if my trip gets canceled or changed by the carriers?

If your trip gets canceled or significantly changed by the carriers, your options will depend on whether you have the Kiwi.com Guarantee. If you do, we’ll find you an alternative or get you a refund. If you don't, your options will depend on the carrier’s policies.

Can I cancel only a part of my trip?

Unfortunately, no. You can only cancel the whole booking for all travelers.
