Due to the ongoing military conflict in the Middle East, several countries in the region have closed or restricted their airspace. This has led to a large number of flight cancellations and reroutes, and the situation is changing constantly.

The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced the temporary partial closure of UAE airspace. Following this, flights to and from airports across the UAE were suspended. A growing number of airlines have since resumed limited operations, but schedules remain significantly reduced and are subject to sudden changes due to the ongoing security situation. This is not a return to normal operations. The following airports are affected:

Some airlines are progressively expanding their schedules, but no confirmed date for a full return to normal operations has been given. The situation remains fluid, and schedules may change at short notice. We continue to monitor this closely.

This affects all airlines operating to and from the UAE, including Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai, Air Arabia, and international carriers. 

The UAE government has announced that it will pay for certain hosting and accommodation costs for affected and stranded passengers. This applies to customers currently in the United Arab Emirates. Authorities in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi have directed hotels to extend guests' stays who are unable to depart. However, due to high demand, accommodation availability may be limited.
