London travel tips
1) Ride the London Eye, the tallest Ferris wheel
The second name of the London Eye is the Millennium Wheel, as it was built to celebrate the millennium. The height of the Ferris wheel is 135 m; it has 32 transparent capsules for up to 25 people. In a 30-minute turnaround, you will enjoy the views of London, and in clear weather, you will even see Windsor, which is an hour's drive away. A standard ticket costs from 24 pounds (28 euro).
2) Try to get to Hogwarts from the enchanted Platform 9 ¾
Perhaps everyone knows the enchanted Platform 9 ¾ at King's Cross station. It was from her that the train with Harry Potter and his friends departed to Hogwarts. Don't forget to take a commemorative photo near the famous pillar and get a Gryffindor scarf and round Potter glasses. Stop by the nearby gift shop for iconic magic items and sweets.
3) Have a look at the Westminster Abbey in London, where all English monarchs have been crowned since 1066
Westminster Abbey is one of the symbols of the British nation. The final construction of the building was completed in 1725. British kings and queens have been crowned here since 1066, and 17 British monarchs and prominent British residents, such as Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin, are buried in the abbey. Entrance to Westminster Abbey is paid, 21 pounds (25 euro).
