The Cathedral of St. Fernando was built in the middle of the 18th century, and recently underwent a large-scale reconstruction, during which unique stained glass windows were installed. Also, this cathedral is known for the fact that it keeps coffins with the remains of the heroes who participated in the Battle of the Alamo in 1836.
