Paris travel tips

1) You can get from Orly airport to the centre of Paris in just half an hour

There is an official Orlybus shuttle that runs to Paris every 15-20 minutes for €8.70. The final stop in Paris is the Denfert-Rochereau station. Also, you can take tram route 7; it can take you to the Villejuif-Louis Aragon station. That is the terminus of the 7th line of the Paris metro.

2) Paris has five metro zones – remember it when buying a ticket

Greater Paris is divided into five zones. You need to take it into account since the cost of transport depends on the zone. The first one includes the city of Paris itself; there is the Stade de France and the Bois de Vincennes in the second zone. The third zone includes the business suburb of La Defense, the fourth zone – the Orly airport and Versailles. Disneyland and Charles de Gaulle Airport belong to the fifth zone.

3) Take a ride or walk across the Paris bridge where Taxi 2 and Inception were filmed

Many famous movies have been filmed on the Bir Hakeim bridge, including Taxi 2 and Inception. The bridge is two-level; there is a pedestrian part under the metro. You can walk along it or take the metro and take wonderful photos of the Eiffel Tower.
