El Celler de Can Roca is a local restaurant in Girona and one of the best in the world, according to TripAdvisor. The Roca brothers founded it – Jordi Roca, who also owns Rocambolesc ice-cream cafe; Joan Roca, the head chef; and sommelier Josep Roca. What makes this restaurant special is the evolutionary consequence of several generations of a family dedicated to catering and restaurants. You can choose between 2 menus: Tasting Menu and Festival Menu, for 165 and 190€ respectively. The content of each menu is a surprise. Note that this place is very popular and you have to book a table in advance.

This spa complex is located in the very old town inside the ancient building that used to be the first Girona’s hospital. There you can visit three rooms with water of different temperature: cold, warm, and hot. There is also a dry sauna with Himalayan salt walls, a steam room, locker rooms, showers, and a sprinkler/sprayer area. The entrance to the thermal baths costs €32.

Mercat Municipal del Lleó market includes over 50 shops where you can find everything from fresh vegetables to meat and fish. The market is open Monday – Friday from 7:00 to 14:00, Friday afternoons from 17:00 to 21:30, and Saturdays from 7:00 to 14:30. Closed on Sundays.
