If you are in the middle of Lyon at night and want to get home, a taxi is not the only option. Four Pleine Lune — “full moon” — bus lines operate from 1:00 till 4:00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The buses depart each hour. Check the website of TCL, Lyon public transport provider, for their routes and schedules. As the taxis are expensive, especially at night, a "Pleine Lune” bus may save you some money!

The Metallic Tower of Fourvière, built in the late 19th century, is 85 metres high. It may not seem much, but the Tower, perched on the hill near the Basilica de Notre Dame, is the city’s highest point. Until the 1950s, the visitors could take the elevator to enjoy the views of Lyon from its top. Alas, that is no longer possible. Still, the likeliness to the Eiffel Tower makes it worth a close-up look. To get such an opportunity, take the funicular from St. Jean.

LPA, the largest parking operator in Lyon, adds some artworks in its garages. For instance, the Célestins Parking Garage has one by Daniel Buren, a modern French artist. The square in front of the Théatre des Celestins has an optical device, shoving you some moving lights. After descending into the parking garage, you will realise that you were looking at the large moving mirror on its bottom. Check it out yourself!
