San Jose is home to the wonderful Happy Hollow Park & Zoo. There are playgrounds among the enclosures with animals, where children can hold and feed the animals. And they can also participate in the most real excavations and get acquainted with the science of archaeology. In summer, various creative workshops are held on the territory of the zoo.

If you need to go outside the city centre, you will need public transport due to the long distances. Public transport in San Jose is represented by numerous buses and Light Rail (a monorail). The price of the monorail is fixed – a one-way trip will cost about $2. A day pass for buses, and Light Rail will cost $6 for an adult and $5 for a child. The bus ticket price depends on the direction and distance.

Count Five wrote their songs in a garage, and in 1964, they became the founders of a new era of garage rock. Their song “Psychotic Reaction” made it to the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame’s list of songs that made the genre what it is. In the group's garage, which is located in the suburbs of San Jose, you can catch your own musical inspiration.
