If you decide to come to the Running of the Bulls festival by car, there are a few ways to reserve parking space. To get to the bell tower at the Pamplona Cathedral, you need to buy a ticket which costs 5 euro (3 euro if you are a pilgrim) and come there at 11:15. From there, you will get impressive views over the historical part of the city. Also, the ticket price includes visiting the museum and Roman ruins, so don’t miss your chance to go there as well. Inside the Cathedral, you’ll enjoy the altar pieces, choir stalls by Esteban de Obray, the 12th-century carving of the Virgin Mary, the Holy Christ, and the Barbazana chapel with its octagonal Gothic vault, the oldest monastic part of the Cathedral.

Mercado del Ensanche market is situated in the Ensanche neighbourhood of the city, just outside the Casco Viejo (Old Town). Mercado del Ensanche opened in 1947, and it is the largest market in Pamplona. It boasts 74 booths, selling both local products and those from around the world. The market is modern and bright inside and also holds various events such as talks and workshops. It’s open Mondays to Thursdays and Saturdays 8:30 – 14:30 and Fridays 8:30 – 15:30 and 17:30 – 20:30.
