Los Angeles travel tips

1) See the interiors of one of the oldest buildings in downtown Los Angeles

The Bradbury Building is one of the oldest buildings in the Los Angeles city centre. It was built as an office building in 1837 by order of the millionaire Lewis Bradbury. The building looks quite modest from the outside, but inside it is designed as a Victorian-style courtyard, with marble staircases, twisted railings, and open lifts. Admission to the building is free.

2) Rock out at a bar located right in the former bank vault in Los Angeles

The Crocker Club is located directly below The Last Bookstore, in a historic building, in the premises of a real bank vault. Part of the decor, namely the steel safe door, has survived and is still in operation, but now it is not closed. Rumour has it that the club has its own ghost inhabiting one of the rooms.

3) Make dozens of photos of the iconic Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles and climb there

Climb up to the famous Hollywood sign by one of the open trails until sunset in Griffith Park. From there, you get a stunning view of Hollywood that looks great in the evening. There are three trails: Mt Hollywood Trail, the Brush Canyon Trail, and the Cahuenga Peak Trail.
