When in Valencia, it is best to call other countries from special call boxes near almost all transport stops, cinemas and entertainment centres. To pay for calls, you need to buy a special plastic card at the post office or the newsstand.

If you crave a cosy dinner at home or a picnic in Valencia, buy the salty cheese Queso de servilleta or the sweet Queso Blanket made from goat's milk. Supplement it with Mistela white wine or Bobal red wine.

If you do not expect sophisticated cuisine but want to have a hearty meal, head to the Neco buffet located 5 minutes walk from Ch. Valencia train station.
