Granada travel tips
Use buses to move around Granada at night
If you get carried away while exploring the city and stay out late, a taxi won’t be your only option to get home. Note that there are two circular night bus lines — 111 or 121 — which operate from 00:00 to 6:00. They go along the Gran Vía and then through Granada’s centre. Exploring the city in such a way might be a delightful experience. Just stay safe and avoid poorly-light deserted spots!
Granada coffee may be more bitter than you expect
Torrefacto is a particular process of roasting coffee beans, common in Spain. It involves adding sugar to glaze the beans. The resulting coffee is dark and very bitter. If you are not a fan of such a drink, look for craft coffee houses to get your caffeine mix.
Look for new clothes at the Nevada Shopping in Granada
A definite must-visit for a shopping fan, it is one of the largest shopping centres in Spain. This spacious, modern mall has 240 shops, offering aperture, shoes, electrical appliances, homeware, jewellery, etc. On top of it, there is a cinema and a large array of places to eat. Note that the restaurant floor has an enormous glass window with splendid views of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains, which gave the mall its name.
