Crazy summer parties have become Ibiza's trademark. At the end of May, the Emerging Ibiza Festival opens the season, which takes place in clubs, on beaches, and in parks. The festive season closes in mid-September with the Party Hard Closing Festival Ibiza.
In Ibiza, you can pay by card almost everywhere, of course. But if you go to the market or want to enjoy street food, make sure you have many small bills in your wallet. This will make it easier for you to settle with local sellers and avoid change fraud. Ibiza belongs to Spain, so the official currency here is euro.
Ibiza's clubs open at midnight, but no one wants to be the first visitor. Everyone rushes to the clubs between 01:00 and 03:00, which creates huge queues at the entrance.
