Iglesia de San Vicente was built in the Gothic style. It survived after the fire when Napoleon’s troops set the city alight. For over 90 years, the building of Tabakalera housed a tobacco factory in San Sebastián. It covers 13,277 square metres of the urban area. The centre accommodates exhibition halls, a multi-purpose plaza, a cinema, a four-star hotel, a library, and headquarters of the local cultural institutions. Tabakalera is located at 1 Plaza de las Cigarreras. It operates on weekdays from 09:00 to 21:00 and on weekends from 10:00 to 21:00.

Tamborrada of Donostia takes place on the 20th of January and gathers adults and youth. It is one of the major festivities in San Sebastián held every year. The celebration is worth visiting because you can watch dozens of groups of tamborrada strolling around the city streets playing drums and barrels to the sound of Sarriegui’s song.
