If you have a self-transfer between flights and traveling with checked baggage, you could benefit from the new bag transfer service provided by AENA Ventures and DUBZ that is being trialed at Barcelona El Prat Airport and offered for free for the trial period. Thanks to this service, you don’t need to collect your baggage from the belt when you land in Barcelona and take it to the check-in counter to drop it off for your following flight. Your baggage will be delivered for you to your final destination, and you can relax during your layover time at the airport.
Please note that the bag transfer service is free of charge for the trial period, and it is available at the moment only on selected itineraries and destinations. You can find more information about eligible airlines at the end of this page in the Terms and Conditions section.
How to book and use the service
- Once you have booked a self-connected itinerary via Barcelona El Prat Airport including checked baggage, you will receive an email with a link to book the bag transfer service.
- Click on the link in the e-mail and provide all the information requested on the DUBZ bag transfer service page. Please note that the service needs to be booked at least 48 hours before departure.
- If you need assistance, you can call or message DUBZ at the phone number provided on the bag transfer service page.
Terms and conditions
- The bag transfer service at Barcelona El Prat Airport is only available for bookings made on Kiwi.com until the 12th of October 2021.
- For non-domestic flights, an airport agent will meet you at the baggage carousel of your respective arrival flight to conduct a final document check.
- The transfer at Barcelona El Prat Airport has to be done by the 30th of October 2021.
- The bag transfer service is provided by AENA Ventures and DUBZ and offered free of charge to Kiwi.com customers for the trial period.
- Travelers must provide their passport/ID details to Kiwi.com for online check-in to receive their boarding passes.

- The bag transfer service is provided only when the origin and final destination airports are within the Schengen area.
- The arriving flight must be operated by Aegean Airlines, Air Europa, Air France, Air Nostrum, Alitalia, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, Iberia, KLM, Lufthansa, Swiss, TAP Portugal, Tarom, Vueling.
- The departing flight must be operated by Vueling.
