There are drinking fountains all over Granada, where the average temperature is around 25°C in summer. Some of them look ancient and even have their legends. For instance, the Fuente de Aceituno (Fountain of Youth) is believed to produce water, making people younger. Even if that is not the case, a mouthful of cool water will certainly refresh you on a hot day.

0.5 grams of alcohol per litre of blood is the upper limit in Spain. Note that it can be reached even after a small glass of wine or beer. The limit is even lower (0.3 grams per litre) if the driver received a licence less than two years before. The penalty for breaking these regulations is a fine of between €301 and €600. Spanish wine is great, but don’t mix it with driving!

The Credibus card or Bonobus allows you to buy 5, 10 or 20 bus tickets at a discounted rate. One trip will cost you around €0.8 instead of €1.4 (ordinary rate). You can buy the card at the tobacconists and newspaper kiosks. Note, that there is an extra deposit of €2 you can get back upon returning the card in good condition.
