Madrid travel tips
All the fun in the electronic music clubs in Madrid starts after 02:00-03:00; no one simply comes earlier. Be sure to visit the Mondo club but better buy tickets in advance. However, several hundred tickets are always sold at the entrance on the day of the event.
Biblioteca Nacional was built 300 years ago. Inside, there are about 30 million books. The entrance to the library is free; you can also book a guided tour or just wander among the instagrammable shelves.
The Royal Palace of Madrid was built in 1764 in the Baroque style. Today, the palace hosts official ceremonies, and the rest of the time, it is open to tourists. Be sure to check out the collection of paintings by Caravaggio, Goya, and Velazquez, as well as Stradivari violins. Also, the Porcelain Hall, the Throne Room, Gasparini's Room, and the Hall of Mirrors are noteworthy. The entrance fee to the palace is 10 euro for adults.
