Most pharmacies in Granada follow regular business schedules. Between 14:00 — 17:00 or after 20:30, it may be difficult to find an open ‘farmacia’. However, each neighbourhood has a rotating system of Farmacia de Guardias, so there must be at least one operating pharmacy in the area day and night. A list by date and district is on the front window of every pharmacy — just find out what neighbourhood you're in.

The construction of this monastery began in 1496. The building in the Renaissance style has two courtyards with semicircular arches, holding shields with the initials of Spanish kings. Its sacristy is considered one of the most striking examples of Spanish Baroque. The visitors are literally dazzled by the sparkling ornamentation. The Monastery also houses a beautiful altar, one of the best works of Gil de Siloe, a Castilian sculptor.
