Under the Market Square, you can find underground warehouses — mysterious labyrinths with a rich historical past. In the Middle Ages, Casimir the Great developed trade and crafts in Rzeszow. There were a lot of goods but little storage space; that’s how underground warehouses appeared. Today, the dungeons have become a part of the local history museum, and anyone can go through the mysterious labyrinth. Touch the history observing ancient dishes, weapons and various objects found during excavations.

In Rzeszow, there are all conditions for successful trade. In particular, the convenient location at the intersection of major highways, places of rest and a pleasant atmosphere of cosy city cafes. The feature of shopping in Rzeszow is the compact location of most shopping centres. Most of them are concentrated on two main “shopping” streets — Aleja Tadeusza Rejtana and Aleja Piłsudskiego. Include shopping in your route.
