The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame is dedicated to the women who play this popular game at all levels. As well as tracing the history of basketball, the museum also highlights all the best-known players, and visitors, who feel like being put to the test, can have their basketball skills challenged on one of the courts. Lakeshore Park is located near the University of Tennessee and fringes the Tennessee River. The park covers 185 acres of land. There are views to enjoy of the river and the Great Smoky Mountains and a walking trail around the perimeter, sports fields, and for children, there are two fun playgrounds, too.
