London travel tips
1) Visit Madame Tussauds in London, the world's largest wax museum
The Museum displays wax figures of famous people: movie stars, presidents, members of the royal family, and many others. Some of the figures are moving, smells and sounds have also been added to the effects. You can take pictures with the figures for free. One of the exhibits is The Spirit of London, which presents scenes of the life of London in different eras. The entrance to the museum usually costs 30 pounds (35 euro) when booked online.
2) Get a 180-meter view of London from Mary Ax 30
The Mary Ax 30 skyscraper has become a symbol of modern London. This is a 180-meter-high building of original design: it expands from bottom to top and then tapers towards the top, due to which it throws a very little shadow. Due to the unusual greenish colour of the facade panels, it is called "cucumber". On the ground floor, there are boutiques, and the best restaurants in the city with an observation deck are on the top of the building.
3) Most museums in London are free. For paid attractions, it’s more profitable to buy tickets online
Many museums in London, such as the National Gallery, British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, and others, offer free admission. Because of this, there are long queues at the entrance to the museums, so arrive early. If you decide to visit a paid attraction, buy tickets online – it will be 2-5 pounds cheaper.
