San Francisco travel tips
1) Explore Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco
Fisherman's Wharf is a port area in northeastern San Francisco. Here you can have fun in the Marine Historical Park, go to the famous Pier 39, and visit the old chocolate factory. And, of course, there are many shops and cafes to have a great time. The dock symbol is a crab. Restaurants will offer you delicious seafood dishes and classic crab soup in a bread plate ($15 or €13).
2) There are two types of public transportation lines in San Francisco
In San Francisco, there are two types of metro – BART (faster and more expensive, runs between cities) and MUNI (slow, includes not only the metro but also buses and runs only in San Francisco). It is convenient to pay for both by purchasing a Clipper Card and replenishing it. The money will be charged at the entrance to the transport. For BART, the ticket price depends on the length of the trip, for MUNI, the standard price is $3 (€2.5).
3) Dine at a Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant in San Francisco
In San Francisco, the locals are very fond of Japanese cuisine and the cuisines of the peoples of the world in general. Book a table at Mensho Tokyo, which has received a Michelin star and still has affordable prices. You can also check out Elephant Sushi or Shizen Vegan Sushi Bar and Izakaya.
