Two bus lines run through Edinburgh and the surrounding areas
Lothian Buses run around the city centre, while First Edinburgh buses run around the surrounding countryside and villages near the city. One can find route schedules at each stop; the main thing is not to mix up the line and not go far to the Scottish countryside. By the way, unlike city buses, First Edinburgh’s drivers give a change to tourists.
Nightlife in Edinburgh is quite active, but the bars are open until about 01:00
Going to a bar or pub in the evening is the main entertainment in Edinburgh. Still, most of them close at 01:00, and new guests are not let in in about an hour.
