Think twice before renting a car in Seville. The streets of this ancient city are poorly adapted for cars. The city has few parking lots, heavy traffic, and a lot of one-way streets. However, if you are going to travel around Andalusia, you cannot do without a car. The most popular rental offices in Seville are the international Avis and Hertz.
The Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (CAAC) is a contemporary art museum in Seville, located near the city centre. The museum is housed in a 15th-century former Franciscan monastery. It also once housed a ceramic tile factory, and today you can find a collection of works by contemporary Andalusian artists here. The ticket costs 3 euro.
In Seville, fish dishes are excellent. The most popular fish here is cod, from which many dishes are made. Try Bacalao con Tomate – it’s cod with tomatoes and herbs. You may also like Bacalao colorao – cod with paprika and garlic sauce, or Pava de bacalao – cod fillet fried in batter.
