Located on Calle Malva, 8 street, Caserio de Mozaga is a lovely traditional 18th-century farmhouse in typical Lanzarote style. A low white building with dark green paintwork and beamed ceilings look very cosy. Run by a local family, the various farm buildings have been turned into a laidback hotel without any luxurious things but with a very authentic atmosphere. Double rooms start from 80 euro here.

Here in Lanzarote, people do not say “hello” as they pass people; they say “goodbye” or “see you later.” And the tradition of greeting everyone, even strangers, remains strong in rural Lanzarote, as well as it might happen in the city.
