Palma, Majorca travel tips

1) In Palma, Michelin star restaurants are affordable to almost any budget

Being located by the river, a wonderful Quetglas restaurant has a Michelin star. But it is really good value for money (for 33 euro you will get something like smoked avocado with shrimp mousse and spicy coconut). Even if you are not so hungry, but want to enjoy the luxurious atmosphere, still go to Paseo de Mallorca, 20 street and ask a waiter to pour a glass of wine. Restaurant owner Adrián Quetglas is always glad to see all visitors.

2) Check local fincas — farm estates in Palma

Palma is blessed with many rural “fincas”. These are farm estates turned into delightful escapist accommodations. The main benefit of renting fincas is an unconstrained atmosphere out off the beaten path without crowds of tourists. Usually, they have gardens with fruits that are available to eat.

3) In Palma, ride a bike in proper lanes

Palma is very friendly to bicycles, but do not forget about some limits. Feel free to ride 20 km/h on cycle paths. But it is forbidden to ride in parks, gardens, streets and sidewalks here.
