Palma, Majorca travel tips

1) Art connoisseurs are glad to see Picasso works in Palma's Es Baluard museum

Es Baluard in Palma is not another ordinary museum. It has really impressive contemporary exhibitions. Even if there is nothing catchy among temporary exhibitions, the permanent collection has works from the end of the 19th century until the present day, with paintings and sculptures by Picasso, Miró and Barceló. Remember, the museum is closed on Mondays.

2) In Palma, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are 'little Saturdays'

In Palma, it would be wrong not to use the local Tapas Trail. It starts on Ruta Martiana street along the Gerreria district twice a week. Tapas bars in this area offer tapas and cañas (a small beer) or a glass of wine for only 2 euro. Tapas Trail was initially organised on Tuesdays to save people from boredom. Then it became so popular that locals applied it to Wednesdays. It is the cheapest fun night in Palma one can get!

3) Oversleeping breakfast is not a problem in Palma, sometimes even a benefit

If you don't have enough time for breakfast, such cafes as Boat House in Palma are glad to treat you to brunch. It is the best place in town if you crave long-standing meals like a full English breakfast, eggs Benedict or Canadian pancakes with crispy bacon.
