Have lunch in a cosy family cafe Vida Meva in Palma
Vida Meva is an amazing restaurant run by the local Palma's family. You are unlikely to meet a crowd here, but still, it is better to book in advance. It is open till 17:00 and located on Carrer del Socors, 23 street. For lunch, they offer a set three-course menu for 13,90 euro or a quick workers' lunch for 11,90 euro. The dishes change every week, but a couple of favourites are always available, such as its famous roast chicken.
In Palma, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are 'little Saturdays'
In Palma, it would be wrong not to use the local Tapas Trail. It starts on Ruta Martiana street along the Gerreria district twice a week. Tapas bars in this area offer tapas and cañas (a small beer) or a glass of wine for only 2 euro. Tapas Trail was initially organised on Tuesdays to save people from boredom. Then it became so popular that locals applied it to Wednesdays. It is the cheapest fun night in Palma one can get!
