The rooms of the Principia, an interactive science museum, cover different branches of science — electricity, astronomy, biology, mechanics, chemistry, and mathematics. There are four main areas. The ‘Tomás Hormigo Room’ has more than 80 interactive modules dealing with mechanics, waves, perception, geology, etc. The ‘Faraday Room’ allows you to experiment with electromagnetism. The planetarium with a 5-metre diameter dome shows various astronomical events. Moreover, Principia has its astronomical observatory with a movable 3-metre dome.
