Admire the ancient cathedrals’ beauty of Wrocław's Ostrów Tumski
Tumski Island is one of the oldest parts of Wroclaw. You can start your journey from the Most Piaskowy (Sand Bridge), an engineering marvel built in 1861. Walking through Katedralna and Idziego Streets, you will see several wonderful religious buildings. The double-spired Gothic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is one of the most striking ones. Another icon is the unique two-storeyed building, housing both the Church of St. Bartholomew and the Church of the Holy Cross.
Go to Wroclaw’s beer gardens or beach bars to have a drink
Wroclaw’s buoyant atmosphere may encourage you to throw caution to the wind and have a beer while walking the city. However, public drinking is still illegal in Poland, and you may get fined.
